I have a lot of ankle tendon problems - all problems. Braces become uncomfortable and don't match shoes well, arched sleeves lead to blisters on the front of my ankle, KT tape helps a lot but during the work week I'm still in severe pain by day 4. and it's all about the glue. Even glue, which doesn't bother my skin, still irritates after a while. I have a pair of these (small, black and blue) that I wear on day five, when the pain is at its worst, which is usually a busier day. Also. Using it in conjunction with the MyTape KT tape (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRYKN05/ref=twister_B072XC5QVC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) helped more than I expected. For obvious reasons the socks don't have the same support as hard bandages or bandages for athletes, but even these help a lot and I find them very uncomfortable on top of that. I found this combination quite practical, the socks are very comfortable, with nice seams that don't bother me (I'm sensitive to that). I run a smaller adult shoe size so no pair of socks fits perfectly, I always land my heel somewhere on the back of my ankle and my only other option is to roll the material under my foot to get the heel in place to have . That's mostly true of them too, but I can get it closer to being correct because they're tightly woven and I don't have a problem with lumps. I've found that I have to keep my toenails short and sleek because all the hooks get snagged easily. while dressing. It also helps to put them on the way you put on pantyhose or stockings. When washing I put them in a laundry bag to wash with the rest of my socks (best not to lose socks) and then hang them out to dry. If they hold up well I will buy a few more pairs not only for work but also for home and sleeping. I've found them to help my ankle tendinitis much more than my plantar fasciitis, even with the taping for it. UPDATE 07/13/21 - Changed from 4 stars to 5 stars; turned out to be pretty solid. I've bought enough pairs to have a pair for every workday, and while working as a cashier, I've spent the pandemic year on my feet more than ever. Every pair I own is at least a year old and the oldest pair is just over two years old. I hand wash them as recommended, then hang them up or lay them out to dry and then place them in UV sanitizer. Yes, I snapped some of the elastic threads, especially on the two oldest pairs, but there are so many of them that they haven't lost their supportive ability. I can detect the slightest difference in pressure between the oldest and youngest couple, but I don't think most people will notice (I'm very sensitive about such things). The only problem I have with them is that they attract hair and I have to struggle to get rid of all that when I wear them on the carpet (my baby and cat shed at an alarming rate). I wish they were a little more "seamless" which bothers me sometimes too, but overall I really can't complain. They're still doing their job, so I can keep doing mine.
