I waited a few weeks before writing this review to gain experience with it. I bought this after a similar flashlight from another brand lasted less than an hour on a charge so I returned it. This turned out to be coincidental because in my search for a replacement I found a Dr. Prepare for 700 lumens. In addition to holding charge, it has other advantages over other lights. One of the main improvements is that the light rotates much further and offers a much wider range of lighting options. It also has separate switches for the flashlight and the main light that toggles from dim to bright. The magnet holds the light very well. I grab this light and use it around the house. The manufacturer has offered a discount on a future product on their website because I wrote a review that I'm not sure I'll use, but it needs to be disclosed for ethical reasons.
