These headphones outperform the competition. It's more like a headset that allows you to keep them on as you work. They keep the sound in (obviously better in a studio, but these are the ears we're talking about), and they don't hurt your ears. There will still be some background noise, but annoying sounds like traffic horns and conversation will be muted significantly. Superb retention, and the ambrochures are easily interchangeable. I have not found anything comparable in terms of portability, aesthetics, or usefulness. I got the black ones for myself, and my wife got the bronze ones; she loves the color and is thrilled to have three bronze watches.
