Hair straightener is very cute and practical. Comes in a nice pouch with a glove so you don't burn your fingertips when holding your hair close to the flat iron. The thermal thermometer is digital and heats up very quickly. I set mine to 390 degrees and it warmed up in under a minute. The metal coasters get hot but I put them on carpet and they didn't damage them at all. I have naturally curly but slightly thinner hair. I figured I would have to straighten my hair before using this curling iron because others don't "take". This curling iron straightened and curled my hair in one go, saving me an extra step. I applied images to my natural hair with a flat iron. I held the heat on the hair for about 5 seconds and it gave the result in the photos. I'm impressed with the speed and wave pattern. Based on the picture I assumed my hair would come out a little more curl/wave, but it appears to be a loose wave, at least for my hair type. I think it does the job, quickly and I'm happy with the results.
