This 22 pound light looks well made and built to last. You can easily assemble it when it arrives. This is ambient light; delicate amber color. For those of us who prefer side lights over bright overhead lights, this would be a good choice. The look is sleek and stylish (like a ceiling fan) and you can choose between light wood or dark brown blades. If you're replacing an existing fan, this is an easy DIY solution. Overall it took my husband about an hour to install it in our living room. But there's one major downside: it doesn't have a remote control. For this reason I would not recommend it for installing in a bedroom or on high ceilings.
