Review on πŸ’‡ Enhance Your Grooming Routine with the Goody Two-Sided Large Round Mirror by Darin Merriwether

Good mirror, LABEL REMOVAL SOLVED (UPDATED 3 Aug 2017)

The beautiful mirror itself is fine. It's the right size for me and looks good. Without the warning would have been 5 stars! I'm not talking about a transparent brand label on a flat mirror that peels off cleanly. There is a paper label on the magnifying glass side which has mostly peeled off but has left a few stains on the mirror. Like others here, I've tried cleaning them with soapy water, dish soap (Formula 409), and classic "blue" glass cleaner. They removed the rest of the paper but the glue still got on the mirror. That annoyed me. I moved from the kitchen to the bathroom. If ammonia-based detergents and cleaning solutions didn't work, alcohol may have. Using a paper towel soaked in rubbing alcohol, I began working on the remaining glue on the mirror. It took a few minutes and a few applications but all the glue was gone. I tried to avoid getting alcohol on the plastic frame as some plastics can be damaged. I'm sure some spots were exposed, but I could see without damage. So if you receive this mirror and the label leaves sticky goo, take out the rubbing alcohol. Acetone nail polish remover might also work, but I think it's more likely to ruin or damage the plastic frame. Hope someone finds this useful. I'm ordering a bottle this weekend and it sounds great. Based on L. Mann's description and product reviews, this seems like a very effective way to get rid of that "slime" tag and many other tricky things. Thanks again to L. Mann for a great suggestion! Updated May 3, 2016: Just over 2 years of regular use of my Goody mirror. He even survived the fall, which I mostly attribute to dumb luck! It still works perfectly, no wonder. It outlived its predecessor from the local dollar store. Updated August 3, 2017: It's been over 3 years and my mirror has survived another fall (or two). So far it's doing its job very well. So far I'm happy with the mirror.
