It's cheap and very light but I'm giving it 4 stars because overall I'm happy with it. This serves my purpose of creating storage space for my outdoor shoes that used to be scattered all over the garage. It has two main disadvantages: 1) It is difficult to assemble because the connecting rods are rolled aluminum and not all are perfectly round at the ends. As a result, many tubes are difficult to insert into holes in plastic parts. Be sure to wear thick work gloves to avoid stabbing your hand with the end of the hose. 2) I managed to make this very light stand heavier and more stable by putting a couple of large iron nails in each tube before assembling it. The increased weight, especially for the tubes used at the bottom of the rack, makes it more stable. You can also use BB balls or other small heavy objects that fit in the tubes. For the low price, I'm happy with this stand, although I wish it took less time to set up.
