If you need a small amp that can operate on 6-15V input voltage, this is the ideal amp. You have to buy it. For eight dollars you don't risk much! It can even run on AC as it has a massive capacitor on the power input and what looks like a reverse polarity protection diode that can be used as a rectifier. I wouldn't recommend this, but I'm sure it will work. It has a few disadvantages: - The blue power LED is in the middle of the board; it would be better to place it in front next to the volume button. - The volume slider has a very noticeable step - when you increase and decrease the volume, it "zigzags" the volume, and not evenly. - The volume knob has a significant delay - you can clearly hear the delay for a second when turning it up and down quickly, and when walking up/down stairs. - The Mute (Short to Mute) connector only shorts the volume control, so it has the same delay and stepping effect as the volume control. Also: A 5.5mm power input connector is required. I would prefer screw terminals like on speakers. I'm sure someone else thinks a keg jack is more convenient.
