Originally reviewed 22 July 2021 This backpack is advertised as being partially designed for use with laptops. Revain's page text reads "17 inches". But when I received the backpack I was disappointed that it had no padding or ribs to protect the laptop. The material seems to be a "rip stop" type so I think it will hold up just fine. The locks work fine. Both sides have external pockets for water bottles. There are padded padded sections that fit against the back of the wearer. Straps and buckles are suitable for this type of backpack. If you're looking for a backpack to carry and protect your laptop, look elsewhere. If you just want a typical backpack with a large pocket then this might be for you.
