I've looked at many portable stools on Revain and chose this one because of the material, size and height. The first thing that struck me was the high quality of this stool. Very stable construction, metal legs, reinforced Oxford seat with coating on the underside. The legs slide out and snap into place with ease and when the salesman instructed me how to stow the legs I found it easy too. (Lift legs up with legs stretched out, gently press the bottom to the floor, and just push legs back in.) The height of the stool is comfortable for getting in and out of comfortably, which is a plus for this 66-year-old old. . The seat is very comfortable and stable. When the legs are removed, the stool is compact, about the size of a compact umbrella. Included is a quick release elastic and velcro strap to hold the seat together and a pocket to hold everything. Although it's very compact it feels a bit heavy but that's a compromise to get the quality, size and comfort I wanted. I've already used it to sit on and as a footstool with my camp chair. I have a tripod stool that I use, but it's more comfortable and portable. This place easily slips into my backpack when I go hiking so I can be sitting and enjoying the view in just a few seconds. This comes in very handy when camping and at home when I need to sit low to get chores done. I think this is a good buy and definitely recommend it. I think I bought a quality product that I will enjoy for a long time.
