It seems that the cool Logitech VX Revolution mouse, which worked very well for many years and replaced the Logitech VX Nano, has ended its existence. Having bought the Logitech M705 Marathon, I deliberately took a risk, seeing a lot of negative reviews. But only she, it seems, was approaching the usual VX Revolution in terms of ergonomics and functions. In general, everything seems to be not bad (sensitivity, accuracy, fits well in the hand), but, damn it, I ran into a problem with button settings. Firstly, the side buttons "forward - backward" work every other time (for example, they do not work, then I turn off the mouse, turn it on again - they work). Secondly, the top buttons are not configurable (or do not work at all) new functions - for example, tied to the middle button - the scroll wheel, the function of calling the calculator, is also called every other time. I guess it's all about the new software. I have Windows 10, Setpoint does not work with this mouse, downloaded the Logitech Options software. I did not install any special driver for the new mouse, believing that Logitech Options would do it automatically. Maybe the fact is that after installing the mouse, I also have a Logitech K-750 keyboard attached to the Unifying receiver, and something went wrong in the process of binding the new device? In short, tomorrow I'll try to put this keyboard on a laptop with Windows 8 and with the SetPoint system, I'll see how the buttons work
