I ordered this for my husband to use in our car. It has a similar item but is very basic and low quality 1. It just plugs into the cigarette lighter socket and only has a few different options and warnings. This 1 is much more advanced and much more high tech and safer and literally has it all! It's very easy to set up, but definitely requires learning when it comes to figuring out all the different features and capabilities. There aren't very detailed instructions, but you can look up what my husband made on the internet. He definitely still hasn't figured out how to use it, what it does and how to do it lol, but he does know how to use it to check some of the indicators that appear on - and he figured out how to disable the sensor airbag deployment, which is very handy when you're involved in an accident and can't afford a mechanic. lol I would say that feature alone is worth it for excellent value for money! This will work on a variety of vehicles as we tried it on our early 2000 Lincoln car as well as his 2000 and 1 Chevy pickup and it worked great on both. I would say if your car has a computer it will probably work. As I said, there is still a lot to learn before mastering it and I have no idea how to use it but will definitely order again.
