I work in product marketing and was looking for a monitor to replace my 10 year old Apple Thunderbolt Display. I wanted something that would allow me to open multiple windows at the same time (mainly office and creative apps), which led me to UltraWide. The LG 34WP85C fits the bill and I was not disappointed. The USB-C port is great for transferring data and powering my MacBook Pro 2018. The picture quality is excellent and the speakers are perfect for background music while working. Ergonomically everything is fine and finally I adjust the monitor to a comfortable viewing height. I had a USB device (a Lume Cube LED light) that required more power than the USB ports could/could supply, but that didn't matter much as the ports work great with my Jabra Speak 510 and the Yeti Nano -Microphone are. I would like a second USB-C port for my 4K webcam, but unfortunately I just plug it into my Mac and everything works great.
