    Poor Quality Control - USB-C charging issues

    Everything about this display is great except for the fact that USB-C charging is unreliable. I am using a Macbook Pro 16" 2019 model. There are several USB devices connected to the display and I use it as a USB hub because as well as a laptop charger. The only connection I have with my MBP is is a single USB-C connection to the display. The USB-C port works as expected for a few hours at a time.     The monitor screen melted and almost caught fire after working well for 6 months.

    The monitor has worked well for 7 months and the picture quality was good for my home office work. I am not a gamer and cannot confirm the suitability of the monitor for gaming purposes. This week on Monday there was a thin black line going left to right to write a few inches off the ground.     Great office monitor for my MacBook

    I work in product marketing and was looking for a monitor to replace my 10 year old Apple Thunderbolt Display.     Great monitor. Image clarity is excellent. USB-C is perfect for the MacBook Air M1. The sound quality sucks. However, you are not buying this monitor for the sound. I recommend this for standard work and school!

    The best monitor is the best in my rating

    It has all the features I need. I can connect Mac USB-C and Windows PC DisplayPort/HDMI side by side. There is an option to configure Inlut PBP. The sound is not very good. Split screen works great with the software.

    USB-C port no longer works

    Bought this monitor during the Thanksgiving sale. The USB-C port stopped working (which is the main reason I got this monitor) and now the only option is to return it without a replacement. I don't get the same price for the monitor and I don't have a box to ship this monitor as I threw away the original box.

    USB-C hub has problems

    I connected everything to a USB-C hub to save on cables. Immediately I noticed my VPN connecting and disconnecting. I've also noticed that I regularly lose my microphone and video through my webcam. I disabled the ethernet and connected to the wireless network and the VPN issue was resolved. I then plugged the USB-C hub directly into my computer and the media was reliable. Clear case of bad hub that I'm monitoring

    Everything was in order. I ran into the battery charging "status" issue that another user mentioned, but it seemed to be charging fine without draining the battery.     The best game changer in my rating

    I run three programs at the same time for work and I'm tired of constantly switching between windows. Bought to have two windows on my monitor and another on my laptop monitor. Works amazing. Charges my M1 MBP via USB-C with no issues. Excellent picture quality/brightness/color. would recommend. The only downside is that the speakers are a bit crappy... but I didn't buy it for gaming, so that's not a downside for me.

    Game changer in my review.

    No questions. Fantastic all-in-one UltraWide

    I can confirm that I've had no problems powering the USB-C from the monitor to my Macbook Pro. This monitor has everything that previous models lacked. Good speakers, USB-C connector under the firmware that has not revealed any glitches so far (tested for 10 days). Will update this review if there are any issues. But at the moment such a wonderful and needed model had to be released by LG.

    I bought this monitor specifically because of the 96W USB-C power adapter for my laptop. I had it 3 days and it was good. It replaced the docking station I was using. I use Windows and use my laptop for work. I have a 4 year old P51 thinkpad that I refused to update the laptop for because I didn't want to reinstall things.
