LOVE because it's battery operated! I bought this to deter the sand flies that haunt the area I live in at my son's football games (they appear when the temperature is ideal for people outside ie 65-75). Every penny spent on this fan is worth it because it's a nightmare. The insects are tiny and are blown away by a light breeze. Only one person can really use it to keep insects away from you. But it took me a day to drive the bugs away, but it ended up being a warmer day and the football team hanging around when they sat on the bench between games, doing a good job of cooling them down. Not sure what the "warm" rating means, but the fan doesn't overheat and does a great job of creating a breeze to keep it comfortable. when the noise level is high - only the sound from the fast rotation of the fan. It's actually a fairly thin fan that fits nicely behind a chair against the wall. light enough to even hang up. The top handle is a bit small to carry around, but you can just use the stand. for those who think 16 inch is a big fan. It's not like this. It's a medium sized fan but battery operated. Buying a giant fan would probably be too expensive. I wish it was bigger but it doesn't overheat when charging, the light is very bright when on or charging but it's optimal for sunny places.
