Part 1 - Installed in my 2006 VW Jetta TDI. Looks great, works great but drains battery when ignition is off so useless until this issue is fixed. I'm waiting for a response from the seller to see if they can offer a solution. I will update as soon as I get an answer. Part 2: I received a free OEM gateway from a dealer to replace the gateway in my car. Even though I had to pay shipping, the gateway arrived very quickly after I informed the seller of my problem. This is a bit of an awkward setup as the airlock is above the throttle and difficult to reach. Check YouTube if you need help finding a gateway to install a new one. After installation, my new head unit works great and I haven't had any issues since.
