Excellent nails. The heads have a circular pattern that makes them great when left open. If you're nailing down fiber cement siding, you can leave them exposed as long as the nails are flush (if you're proud, just hammer them in with a flat-head hammer). We do a lot of exterior work in Southwest Florida near the Gulf of Mexico (waterfront homes) so we use 316 stainless steel - not a substitute. Coils welded with high quality wire.
