Bought for cats. Store-bought traditional rugs didn't help keep the trash in the tray. It helped a lot. Since purchasing I've built a wooden "box" that provides access to the tray and a hidden compartment for groceries, extra fillers, shovel, etc. So I repurposed it as the bottom for the box and it still works as intended. My only complaint, which probably has to do with how well it works, is that dirt gets stuck in the upholstery when trying to clean it. I've tried several different vacuum attachments and shake it, but you can't get much out. Would recommend to anyone struggling with litter outside the litter box and especially those worried about sticky beans getting stuck. barefoot.
