Beautiful, high quality hair clips. They are 3.5 inches long and listed as large in the product description, but I would actually call them medium. They are great for my very thin long hair and I can pull all my hair back and these clips grab my hair. firmly and hold in place, but they aren't big enough that neither my daughter (she has waist-length hair) nor my granddaughter (she has short hair but is very fat) do the same - they usually need clips in Size 4.5 inches or more. These hair clips have a very smooth shape. They are opaque and the colors are beautiful; one in dark tortoiseshell and one light. They are made from durable cellulose acetate material and are much less likely to crack or chip a tooth than cheap and fairly fragile ones. The spring is neatly and tightly wound and closed so my hair doesn't get caught. The spring provides a strong hold. There are six interlocking prongs on each side of the clip and they have a high degree of overlap so they close tightly to hold my hair very securely, even without the hidden internal prongs or silicon strips that some clips have. They were packed in a very nice, sturdy gift box. The current price of $12.99 seems reasonable for these high quality, stylish clips.
