Do I need this unit to test my reef tank? I'm glad I have it. This greatly simplifies testing water with titration kits. I feel like the almost instantaneous mixing allows me to be more accurate with my color change titration kits. This kit works great with RedSea bottles. The only thing that confuses me is that for the price I wish it came with multiple magnetic stirrers. This device is powered by a 9V battery, making it very portable. A simple device that just works.
