My fiancé and I aren't nearly as good at massaging my feet with just our hands. I was a little nervous about buying it after reading some of the reviews, but we have no trouble holding it at all and its edge isn't too sharp. It's not a cure-all, but overall it's one of the few things that has anything to do with my pain. For the record, I have plantar fasciitis in both feet and have been using over-the-counter pain relievers, stretching, and manual massages for over a year with no success. I usually wake up and my first step is immediately followed by heel/arch pain that numbs me for most of the day. But after using this product at night, I can walk and/or stand a lot into the evening before I feel anything! Highly recommended. Be sure to watch some videos about the Gua Sha and Gruston Technique before trying them!
