It was such a handy little package! It folds down into a small zipped pouch which in backpack mode is actually a handy zipped pocket at the top of the bag for items you don't want to put in your bag like money, sunglasses, lip balm. When folded, it is small enough to carry in your handbag. When I go shopping I can leave my groceries there when I ride the subway or walk through the busy streets of Santo Domingo. The zippers are worked out and slide well. I washed the bag and it kept its color and quality. The mesh is also durable and the shoe will not wear out even after 18 months of use. It's big enough to carry the most common items. It fits in my laptop and has plenty of extra space too. The shoulder straps are very flexible and comfortable and are easy to adjust, so you never have to cramp your arms even with large sleeves. Common sense is that this is not a padded item. So if you wear cold items, you will definitely feel them on your back, which can be a positive. However, if condensation/melting occurs, you will also feel wet. I had a very cold water bottle in a humid environment and didn't put it in the net sides due to crowded public transport.
