I don't usually write reviews but a winter coat is an important purchase. 5 stars for the style is super cute. A striking and beautiful hood, a collared inner vest eliminates the need to wear a scarf and a belt cinches it up nicely so it doesn't look like a sleeping bag. Makes you look a lot more sophisticated than the normal north face situation. 3 stars for functionality - there are many design flaws. The two zippers, belt and snaps make dressing a little tedious/labor intensive when running out the door. The top is warm (probably due to the extra layer of the vest) but the bottom (thighs) is not warm at all. There are no inside pockets, but the outside pockets suck. They're super flat (thanks, Kenzie's Coat, for dying my iPhone 6 screen) and zip up - no open pockets. Lightning only goes in one direction. Inconvenient for daily life/business/travel to work. Overall not a bad buy (especially for the price) but given the design flaws I wouldn't buy it again. It's cute but not very warm or functional.
