I had an extra shelf under my desk that would be great for storing two laptops with chargers and a scanner, but I don't want a clutter of cords and gadgets. It took me forever to find this item, but based on the space available and the size of the devices, and that I prefer devices that stick out a few inches for easier gripping, this is exactly what I was looking for. It was used and apparently returned a year ago in September 2020 as the return slip was still in the bag; A little worried as the condition was listed as 'very good'. The previous owner returned all the parts and even the extra screw. The trim was removed from the back of one of the trays, but I manually bent the nails and it snapped into place. Still need some glue and a night clip but that can wait. Also, the previous owner overtightened 15 of the 18 screws, and I'll admit they're softwood, but since they're the same size as electric guitar screws, I used the same trick to patch the hole : Simply cut a tiny piece of plastic from a credit card, stick it in the hole, and the screw tightens tighter than ever. I doubt this device will last more than a year of daily use on a busy office desk, but for a perfect device shelf tucked under a desk, I find it perfect. And if you use it with a 30% discount, I'm very satisfied.
