Everything you need in one cooler

I have a lot of backpacks but this is my first cooler. I like it. Advantages: β€’ Easily washable material. I soaked it in river water and washed it well with a damp sponge. β€’ Good zippers, open and close without problems. β€’ The front bungee cord seems useful and is quite tight. β€’ The straps are thick and comfortable and fit me well. (5'11", 200 lb) β€’ Mostly waterproof. I tied it to my kayak which was rolling down the river. Later, when I got back to shore, I noticed that very little water had gotten into the bag. I knew that it wasn't supposed to be waterproof, but it was damn close.. β€’ My clothes stayed cold. I didn't test the Pace, I didn't do any scientific evaluation - I just used the pack every day for a week on a beach vacation. β€’ 2 main storage areas are enough for what I need (1 main and 1 small front pocket) β€’ 2 side water bottle pockets are great too He was holding a large bottle of sunscreen and a bottle of bug spray I never put a water bottle in it. β€’ The silver lined insulation is quite thick - thicker than all the lunch bags, boxes, etc. I have for my kids β€’ Note: when I first used it I used it for 5 consecutive days and on the beach. 86F+ Usage: I typically stuff 3 bottles of water, 4 soda cans, a packable beach blanket (parachute stuff I think), 1 Arctic Ice Chillin Brew Series 2.5lb reusable cold pack, and a few other items in a large bag with my phone. Charger, wallet in a small pocket. There was space in both pockets. Whenever I checked my email for the first time during the day (was on vacation) I pulled out my glasses and phone and both were so cold it was condensing! The drinks were always cold. Arctic Ice Chillin Brew Series reusable cooler partially melted after a full day. Every evening around 6:00 p.m. I emptied my backpack at home and all the leftover drinks and an ice pack were still cold. I love this backpack. This is general use, no tests, no thermometers. By the way, I saw a review of this bag from someone who used it at Disney World, I can well imagine using it at theme parks, cruises (updated: 6/24: been to Disneyland and the Disney cruise is still amazing now!) ) etc. cool Cons: β€’ The handle is a bit flimsy, I wish it was thicker or covered in some kind of plastic/foam β€’ I don't like the waist belt and don't use it. I wish there was a way to take it off and put it back on when I need it. β€’ The zips are not waterproof, but they close. A 4-minute dive in the river yielded little water (less than an ounce to be exact). Overall, I highly recommend this backpack. ADVICE. A new thing: I now use this backpack on every vacation. I fill it with the usual things I put in my backpack on the plane with a large grid organizer - action cameras, chargers, cables, gadgets and gear, everything fits in the grid - that, then I slide the grid – it in the backpack. Arrived at the resting place, the net is stowed in the drawer of the room and the backpack is used daily as a cooler and travel bag for the whole day. Love it. I just need another family member to wear it too so we can double the drinks/snacks! 05/11/2020. 1 star removed. I use it more often in the summer, but recently I took it to the mountains for the weekend. I slipped the thin sweatshirt over the outer stretchy straps and pulled the 2 strap holders out of the backpack. The rest of the pack is in great shape, but this mishap makes it a little odd. This is very bad.
