Review on 🔧 Monroe 58646 Load Adjust Shock Absorber by Monroe by Robert Jaskolski

Revainrating 5 out of 5

6 month update: [Yet] just what I needed.

I bought these to raise the back of my 2007 WK a bit. I landed on this rig, and after installing the cross-country leveling kit, I found myself with quite a bit of sag in the rear with an oversized spare, 10 gallons of fuel, a high-lift jack and all the rest I wear equipment again. . This, of course, greatly enhanced the liberation. but gave me about 1 inch of total lift in the tail and brought back my leveled look. Installation was easy. I ended up having to cut and replace one of the factory lower shock bolts because it was bent and I couldn't remove it. But that's to be expected on a car that has driven about 125,000 miles. Overall a great purchase. No problems after 1000 miles UPDATE: 6000 hard miles and no problems! As mentioned, if soft, consistent suspension is a priority for you, look elsewhere, but for me this is exactly what I need to boost my rear suspension.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
