Review on Fujifilm 📷 X-S10 Black Body Camera by Adam Wojtczuk ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for me, no problems at all.

In general, all the fire! I shoot video for work (KraspolTV), I take pictures for pleasure. The camera is light, tightly embled, fits perfectly in the hand, weighs little, does not require a cage in most cases. You can shoot yourself with your hands (if you bought a shirik), microphone jack, screen, ons in their places. The lack of moisture protection in reality does not particularly interfere. I shoot in the snow, in a light rain and everything is ok. In heavy rain, once it got a little wet, water got into the viewfinder, it glitched, then it dried up and everything is ok. I bought more batteries, I use charging from xt20. The film modes are excellent, you can set one on two cameras at once and get an excellent undershoot without any coloring, saving a lot of time. In general, a bomb gun, but when the Japanese are fired, which makes these miserable viewfinders, there will be a pure Pearl Harbor in general.

Pros
  • I'm the same blogger for whom this light, comfortable camera was made and it's fine! I chose between xt4 and xs10 without cost restrictions and deliberately bought xs10. They finally made a decent camera for vloggers. As for me, this is one of the best such units for the money. Switched from xt20 and super happy. - The tripod thread is now in its place and changing the battery / getting the flash drive has become easy, no need to unscrew the tripod plate - stub norms and it really works. You can use lenses without a stub for video and take pictures in the dark at slow shutter speeds. - Slowmo 240 frames great! - I personally need a rotary screen, because I shoot myself. If I hadn’t filmed myself, the folding one would have been more convenient. - the microphone jack is now 3.5 instead of 2.5 as it was with xt 10-20-30 and this ridiculous adapter is not needed (hey, saboteur who introduced 2.5mm to old cameras, I hope they kicked you out already! ) The Chinese gave him Stopudov bribes to sell adapters from 2.5 to 3.5 - the microphone jack is in the right place and does not interfere with the rotation of the screen. - low weight. This is a key story for me in the mountains before xt4 - the best grip among all fujas (well, ok, more xh1). Thanks to the convenient handle, additional grips and cages are not needed. The camera is self sufficient. Again, weight savings. - with large lenses of norms, but xt20 is not - customization of almost all ons and rings is great. - Film simulation modes are great. If you don’t know how to color the video, you don’t need it and you don’t write everywhere “the camera , there is no 4-2-2 10 bits here”, then the camera will come to you. I don't even know (I'm lying) what it is. My operator knows this with his heavy A7S3. It's cool that I set the film mode and immediately the desired style is ready. - does not p out from overheating after 20 minutes, like xt20 - removes 4K in pieces for 30 minutes, unlike xt20, which is only 10 and then immediately overheated like a thermostat on an old Opel. - it is pleasant and cool in the hand. Better than all those retro xt's. - behaves normally in wet weather, like xt20, by the way. In case of a storm there is a gopro
Cons
  • ated after 6 months - an elastic band on the eye - a shame on all of Japan. The photo was made for travel, and when traveling, the sun suddenly appears. And it still suddenly shines from the side. And it's a fiasco, bro. Nothing is visible. Apparently, in Japan, employees cannot be fired and they are waiting for that blind samurai who makes eyes to retire. Although, perhaps, he is not a fool at all and the Chinese, who sell 1000 rub. Didn't think about the battery. In the photo mode, the norms, but on the video it eats a moment. I take two more batteries for shooting and that's it. Immediately buy either native or Chinese with a charger. - they clamped the external charger in the kit🤦‍♂️ And there seems to be a solution - the fotik works from usb type-c, but it turned out to be inconvenient for me. For the studio, I bought a Chinese dummy from the outlet, it has come in handy more than once. And I ordered a mobile charger for 2 batteries from Alisha to take with me on trips. - it's not very convenient to monitor the sound through headphones during shooting, the swivel screen interferes. But it will go, in general. - be sure to ate the firmware, otherwise the first one with the microphone connected will not go into sleep mode and will drain the battery. - there is not enough lever for switching focus modes, I had to put it on the left wheel. - after six months of use, I can say that there are not enough familiar ons, instead of which now there is a joystick. This slows down the work when you need to quickly change everything. The joystick is slower than the ons and not as accurate. If the XT2-3-4 has an ISO knob, then you must first press the ISO on, then use the joystick or wheel to change it and then press ok. - Strange C-1-2-3-4 modes. They are not completely manual and only under the photo. For example, HDR is set to the norm, and the high-speed scheme is only with auto aperture and auto exposure. As a result, it’s all the same for high-speed shooting with handles set in M mode - film modes are cool, but there is no "as is" mode. I tried to somehow take a picture of a fiery sunset, changed all modes, none of them convey reality.
