At the moment one works, the other has a faulty display (illegible) and the other differs in humidity accuracy by more than 10% from the only one that works properly. This is 67% of the failures. The probe can be extended a little over 30cm from the base, so it would be difficult to conveniently place the probe outside, and the wire is a bit thick to run along a door or window gap. However, they are so cheap that you can buy a pair and put one by a window or just take it outside for a while. The dew point (and relative humidity - if you really think that number makes sense) are updated within a few seconds. So when you get it, check the temperature by comparing it to another thermometer you know to be accurate and check the relative humidity using the brine test method. This can be found online and is very easy to do. Basically, it produces a fixed level of 75% relative humidity in a closed container (a good way to test any hygrometer). If All-Sun reads 75% after 12-24 hours, that's good.
