The shoes are firm and warm but trying to get a toddler's foot in is a real struggle, the shoes themselves are a good size but it takes persuasion, pressure, liberal use of oil and lots of prayer to get the foot through the to get entrance. The shoe consists of an outer shell and a foam insert that supports the foot but is too narrow for the foot size that the shoe is designed for.
