I'll start by saying that I don't know if "beer pong" table tennis is any different from regular table tennis. I needed it for throwing competitions so they were fine. But we also have a table tennis table, so we decided to use it for the table later. But they are different from our normal table tennis balls. They are thicker and have a slightly rough surface. For our purposes of the game, this was fine. But if you're buying for a table tennis game, this might not be the best choice.
