In general, this mantilla is good, but the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. I wouldn't judge that harshly, other than that it's clearly edited, so the flaws are really incomprehensible. The edge where the lace was attached was not covered, so with every slightest movement the raw edge of the fabric clings to the body, causing waves and displacements. I noticed it right away, so I'm not sure I'll wear it until adjustments are made. The body of the Mantilla is lace in the most technical sense, however it is made from inferior fully synthetic material and to be honest I am afraid of having open flames around me like candles which are a must in a church. The fringes are actually not gold at all, more of a matte taupe. I'll keep it and try it out after I fix the bad stitching and finishing. If my mind changes I will edit my review which is unlikely. I would have gladly paid more due to the online presence but now I understand why the price was so low. Generally just "OK". I had previously ordered from Parmor and was delighted. I'll try again anyway - it might be a one-time oversight
