I don't usually bother to write reviews but I am very happy with my purchase and have decided to give it a try share. Pros: + very solid build + nice coated finish - not an eyesore on my desk + solid adjustment that doesn't affect the stability of the stand + surprisingly solid (doesn't feel like the laptop is about to fall off) + rubber pads Don't feel cheap and don't feel like they just slide off + laptop stays cooler (unobstructed airflow) + more clearance! Cons: - I have not bought this before and wasted time using the laptop from the drawer or putting the laptop away every weekend to save space! Due to the whole pandemic situation, I've been working from home for several months but haven't been able to find a way to optimize my limited desktop space. I've been looking for stalls for a while, but didn't find anything that really caught my eye. I use separate peripherals for my work laptop and keep the laptop closed while I work. However, this means that four cables are protruding from the back of my laptop, and that weight is enough to make me hesitant to trust a vertical laptop stand for fear that the weight of the cables could tip the laptop over. Even when it wasn't, I worried that I wouldn't be able to get close enough to keep the laptop from tipping one way or the other. In short, it looks very promising. I could clip it to my desk to make getting my laptop in and out easier, but it's great without it too!
