This is a very simple case. Leather-coated cardboard. It protects my iPad Air 2, but it has a flaw that might make it less than useful. iPad now has some gestures that require you to swipe from the bottom or right of the screen. This type of swiping is very difficult in this case, since the edge of the case is exactly on the edge of the screen. If you didn't have to wipe it wasn't a problem, but since you do it it is :-). The solution is for the manufacturer to make a notch or hole in the middle of the four sides, similar to the one below for the home button. Since no one can know how the iPad will turn, there should be notches/holes on all four sides. However, for $12 this is a decent case if you just need something basic to protect your iPad. I doubt I'll keep my case longer than necessary to find a more permanent solution for me. I prefer a much thinner body that doesn't get in the way when mopping.
