Learned from my own bitter experience.
Well I've been sewing all my life, I've only used it for hemming. Then it all started with making masks. I found myself pulling my projects sideways out of the car. Then it didn't work properly. I bent the wires under my foot. So I bought a pair of these so I wouldn't get stuck in the water waiting for someone to come up. They work great but are delicate. Just think about pulling projects out of your sewing machine.
