I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

As for the application, most pseudo-photographers will unanimously tell you that the 60d is not a professional model and if you want something "serious" then pay the Nth amount. It's all nonsense. Remember the times when the canon 20d cost over 2022 and only "pros" owned it, and now put it next to the 60d for 1000, the 20d is inferior in terms of parameters, but even now you can find very serious pictures on the net using 20s.
If you are thinking of taking the Canon 60d, then most likely you did not like the 600d :), first of all, even outwardly, it is not so solid and ergonomic (considering that the matrix and processor are the same). If the call of your soul allows you to pay extra 10 thousand - do not deny yourself, take 60d!

Pros

The most important advantage, for which I switched to a SLR camera, is the speed of work, starting from the moment the device is turned on, focusing on an object and taking a picture, an instant passes, which was extremely difficult to achieve with a previously digital soap and digital video camera. The quality of the video shot with this unit is unmatched by any amateur and most semi-pro camcorders. At the moment, 5d mark2 is considered the reference DSLR device for video, but it is more than 2 times more expensive, with an extremely insignificant difference in the footage (for an amateur who does not earn this profession) material (80% of success in shooting video is editing) If we compare with 7d, then there are significant differences only in the speed of continuous shooting (not to be confused with the speed of focusing), the adjustment function, the body, for which I did not want to pay extra 20 thousand, because. again, the quality of the footage is absolutely identical. Why not 50d? Because there is no video in it, you say "why video, is it a camera?" I will answer that times go by and stereotypes change, now the entire future generation of cameras is equipped with this function. Although I agree, they removed the solid body and the presence of adjustment in vain, probably so that the real owners of the 50d do not burst with annoyance))) on the Internet you can only hear their whining)))

Cons

The build quality of the device is good, but not excellent, could have been better. To be honest, devices from nikon are better assembled (for example, d90 and d7000), a clearer and tighter fit of parts, which is probably why their cases have dust and moisture protection.
