If your the type that has to wear a badge at work but you always forget it at home this is a great option. I use it for my wallet which I never forget so always have my badge with me. The wallet combo is to heavy for the retractable lanyards, which are convenient when you need to scan your badge to get through doors. However I like that it is Velcro'd on so I can remove the badge section. The individual badge holder is not to heavy for the retractable lanyards. The only trouble I've had is that the velcro section on the back of the badge holder can stick to clothes. I ended up making a cover for the velcro which resolved the problem.
