Review on Hunter Indoor Ceiling Fan Control Lighting & Ceiling Fans for Ceiling Fans & Accessories by Leah Ramirez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Big fans as long as they aren't damaged. 2 out of 4 so far Bad

2 out of 4 fans ordered so far have been damaged. One had a dent in the engine frame so it went back. UPS picked it up from my home yesterday with no problems and a replacement is arriving today. The second fan I installed is rubbing something on the motor housing and I can't figure out what's wrong. It's a shame as I spent a lot of time on it. Just take 30 minutes to check all the details, spin the fan well and listen for the sound before you start. A piece of advice: do not use a standard ceiling rod shorter than 9 feet. Even if you screw the rod in, it won't come out. I've had this happen to 2 of them and one comes back with it. The other went downstairs where I have big blankets. There is no way to uninstall it after installation. Hint, blue wires to red wires in new houses (usually). Use electrical tape on wire nut connections. Turning fan blades alone is a nightmare, get help. The look of the two built-in fans is nice and I like the amount of air they move. 3 lights also light up. I would like a dimmer, but it sometimes makes a humming noise and is rather awkward.
