I tried it on my Halloween makeup and it never left anything in my toner pads. I didn't notice the smell. I was also impressed by the list of ingredients. Only 7 ingredients including three sunflower oil, vitamin E and synthetic beeswax to make it pure and vegan. The only minor thing I would like to point out is that I highly recommend a double cleanse if you are going to be using serums. skin after.
