I owned r-26f and gave it to my mother. These monsters require a decent amount of energy to really make them shine. Bi-amping was a must for them. However, Klipsch nailed the design of the r-610f speaker. The legs were not assembled from the box but all screws were included. These columns have a slight slope as the legs are at different heights. Now the look is definitely more industrial but very suitable for living room decoration. Even though it looks amazing, it works way better than expected. I hooked two of these up to a Denon x1300w (about 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms) and they sing. Without a subwoofer, they produce an amazing amount of bass. If the room acoustics are right, they resonate very well. The tweeter is very clear and crisp. You can tell it doesn't even try and makes a fantastic sound. I haven't hooked it up to a power amp yet, but I'll make changes when I do. I have paired them with a klipsch r-12sw and they complement each other very well. If you're in a medium-sized room, these speakers are for you. If they're larger, use the r-26f or whatever the newer models are called, but be sure to use a bi-amp or power amp with these speakers to make them shine. Using just one audio receiver with these little monsters is perfect for normal listening and medium/loud volumes. I am positively surprised by it and can only recommend it.
