My girl wore it in the rain for the first time a few days ago. But she didn't wear a hood because it's too big and falls in her face. I'm trying to figure out how to secure it next time so her head and ears stay dry but she can still see. You will also need to buy a harness for them as the leash hole does not work with the collar and leash. But the cape is great and keeps her upper body completely dry!
