I bought these to boost my miserable Suzuki DR200 headlight when driving off-road at night. I REALLY think I'll get $10-$15 worth of lights with this, but not exactly what I wanted. It's no brighter than my down-the-road headlight, but it illuminates the periphery much better. Basically the flood part does what I was hoping for but the spot doesn't. Fastening system is ok. It holds up well, but somewhat limits the "aim" of the light. I hooked it up directly through a switch (rated 10A) with no relay and so far it's stood up well to a 3500 mile ride that was probably 50% off-road through rocks, mud, dust and a full day of rain . No water ingress into the mine. For the price I'd say it's value for money, but I wish the spot LEDs were projected a little further and/or a little brighter.
