Review on ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ Covert Hitler by Robert Hardin

The best way to totally undermine friends' trust and reconsider every action until you're even more confused than when you started

I love this game! It's fun with groups of any size, but the closer you get to the 10 max, the more challenging the gameplay becomes. I play with a lot of the same people (though in different mixes depending on the night) and it never happens again. Basically there are players who are liberals and some who are fascists. The liberals have no information, but the fascists know who the other fascists are and who Hitler is. Hitler doesn't know who fascists are (except for very small games). In each round an election is held where one person is President (he moves around the table one by one) and they appoint a Chancellor. If the election is successful, the President takes 3 Political Tiles and then gives 2 to the Chancellor to play one and discard one. The goal is to fill the Liberal political board for the Liberals to win, or for the fascists to fill their board, or have three strategies in play and Hitler is elected chancellor. You can always be honest or lie about anything. Due to the ratio of strategy cards and some special powers granted while playing strategies, it leads to very interesting gameplay! You won't know who to trust and very often the discussion will take place on many levels, analyzing past actions and looking at the probabilities of what will happen as said to find out who is lying. This is funny! And playing with people constantly adds a lot of interesting things, but this is a completely different game, a game with new people, which makes every situation very funny. Be sure to try this weird sounding game, it's the funnest game I've ever gotten!
