I like this sensor but I'm trying to solve a problem, actually 2 problems. Currently 1 star, but if it's my fault or solved in another way, I can correct this star rating. This prevents me from including the video in an email to the seller, but allows it on the review page. 1) There is usually a wide psi range of around 10psi (5 plus and 5 minus the setting). The analog oil level sensor in my engine compartment does not indicate this. UPDATE: The seller has responded and is planning a refund as they believe the sensor is defective and causing this issue. 2) When I'm driving or even thinking at idle sometimes the entire gauge goes blank and reads zero psi. Then it turns on immediately and goes into working psi. It will not trigger a display reset on startup and will not sound a low pressure alarm if shut down like this. UPDATE: The seller wanted me to connect to another 12v source, it is already connected to a 12v relay controlled via a direct connection to the battery, but maybe the problem is another device on the same relay or ground, not sure how I got it I haven't gotten around to diagnosing it yet, although they gave me a refund due to issue #1 above. I'm not sure yet if one or both of the problems are a pressure gauge, a power problem, a sensor problem or more One of them or others in general? Regarding the beaker/gauge body: there doesn't seem to be any way to tighten the gauge into the beaker. There's some double sided tape included in the kit and I'm guessing it's for attaching the sensor, but it seems oddly semi-permanent and as you can see I've got some diagnostics to figure out my issues so someone has to pick and take it out of. Also a picture of what is coming. Nicely packaged. The fit and finish seems great, just the electronics which I'm concerned about is a major part so hopefully the above issues will be resolved (they are supposed to refund my money so I think that's resolved enough for some time to deal with an unreliable sensor).
