Review on πŸ“± Spigen Slim Armor CS iPhone XR Case (2018) - Rose Gold by Brian Cueto

Revainrating 2 out of 5

a little flimsy - Basic Cases

I had a Spigen rugged armored case for my iPhone 6 and loved it so I decided to buy it when I was upgrading my phone. I'm a little disappointed in him. Card slot cover opens too easily. This wouldn't be a problem if the card slot opened downwards like the iPhone 6, but since it opens from the side, the corners dig into my hand and the cards I have inside are much larger. I also have a pop-up slot at the top of the card slot and when I open it I can see the card slot cover flexes up along with the pop-up slot. This didn't happen when I had the same pop socket on my iPhone 6. Otherwise I'm pretty sure the case protects my phone well and will hold the case, although I will only replace it if my pop socket breaks the card. Slot cover is off. Edit: changed my rating from three to two stars. I've been using it for over two years. The weight of my phone on the socket opened the lid as I lay on my side. Almost every time I dropped the phone, the case would fly off, as would the cards inside. The case is also very difficult to put back on. Eventually the corner of the cover broke off leaving a sharp jagged edge which made me finally look to Revain for a new phone case and I'm happy to report that now that the iPhone XR is no longer a novelty is, there are more and better options.
