I've had problems with my Achilles tendon for 2 years. I've seen many improvements by doing the eccentric step exercise and by stretching and strengthening other leg muscles. But I still had aching tension and pain in my Achilles tendon. I realized that I could massage myself deeply and/or roll my caviar, which would change but never solve these weird episodes. My physical therapist suggested cupping and it worked right away! I must have had some sort of adhesion that was interfering with the movement of my muscle and causing pain due to the shortening of the length of the muscle attached to my Achilles tendon. Definitely highly recommended!
