Still ticking ;-) Still has the original strap and had a battery change a few months ago but it passed the BCT with flying colors and its watch is still on track. ---Original Review I bought this watch for my son. reporting for BCT in 10 days. largely based on the many reviews from soldiers here about durability. While he was in MEPS 2, the officers took notice, showing him their own 9052 and telling him "good recruit choice" or similar words. An additional permit is not required! We'll see how they survive through its service but so far I'm happy with the purchase and my son loves the look and feel of the watch. The price is of course more than reasonable.
