convenient thing.

This is my second attempt to buy a radio with Noaa weather channel. The first was a small vondior 9.99 pocket radio that works surprisingly well given its small size. The sound is also tiny and a bit difficult to hear, but this plum is a different animal altogether. He is medium height. Just small enough to be portable but big enough to be a tabletop radio. The speaker has a good clean sound in all areas. I use it primarily as an emergency radio in my workshop, but AM and FM are clean and it's something in a metal clad building with a metal roof. However, I use a 15 foot tilt antenna outside for better reception, but wx doesn't need it. The build is good and seems solid and we will build. Smooth lines, and while this isn't a beauty queen, she's not ugly either. The features I really like are the 1 on/off/volume knob and the channel switch knob. Plus a simple range switch. The dial is pretty accurate too. Not exactly, but close. For the price I would recommend it to anyone, anywhere. I hope this helps someone. I'm not a professional reviewer, but that's my opinion. Also check out Todderbert Airwaves on You Tube to see it in action. He is really professional in checking the radio.
