I love this mitten for general winter wear because it's so versatile for everyday use. It allows you to swing your hand back and stretch out your fingers to help you work, but still has finger holes to keep your hand warm when you're top-down. before any wet weather. You get wet very easily. I can spray them with Scotch Guard but it needs to be reapplied and I'm too lazy and cheap to service it. All in all, these are great mittens for everyday winter use, but not for wet weather. I wear them from late fall to early spring and they wash great with no issues. Size M fits me, just right for a 5ft 8in woman. My 6 foot husband found them too tight.
