Review on πŸ‘₯ Max and Neo Stainless Steel Chain Martingale Collar: Saving Lives with Every Purchase by Jesse Cruz

The rally surprised me with the quality and it absolutely helps to stop the dog from jerking on the leash

I have my dog in training. This is a rescued puppy who just turned 1 year old. She has an excellent temper, but is prone to recklessness and excitement. One of the problems associated with this is excessive tension when walking. I do NOT want to be so harsh as to buy her a barbed collar. That might be fine for some dog types, but not for me. The principle of operation of the martingale collar is that with a sharp tug on the leash, the dog feels an uncomfortable compression of the neck, so to speak, to land it and return it to the right path. I love this style of martingale collar where the small link in the chain is actually the working part. I like this because as soon as you pull and release the chain the tension goes away so quickly. This is not the case with other types such as all-material collars. Now for the quality of this collar. Very good. I like its durability and the fact that the quick connector has a failsafe thumb switch to prevent accidentally disconnecting while walking the dog. If you love animals, you'll love the fact that for every animal purchased from the shelter, a dog is provided free of charge. I don't think there is any way to confirm this, but this is their stated policy. Bottom line, it works for my stated purpose (teaching) and the quality is definitely there. I was more than surprised how nice it looks and how well made it is. I'm sure it will also be a good leash for dogs that pull too hard or are just trying to lead where they want to go, not where you want to go.
