I bought this because we have a Chase lounge style sofa and my wife likes to sit on the sofa when we relax at home and watch TV. My wife likes to have her iPad and iPhone handy, and she's usually watching whatever she wants on her iPad when I'm watching something on TV that doesn't interest her (which happens very often). She also likes to have an air purifier in front of her due to her allergies and usually runs everything off a standard power strip. This worries me because I believe this extension cord is a fire hazard. I've looked at devices with multiple plugs and USB ports, but the plug is too far away and the cables aren't long enough to charge electronic devices. Then I found it! The problem is solved! The cable used to connect the device is long enough to perfectly reach the Chase Lounge handle. Now we can connect the air purifier and its electronic devices to the USB ports. It's also like circuit protection, so if a power outage happens or something unthinkable happens, electronic devices won't get fried! I know this review sounds like I have "first world issues" but it's worth the investment. . Convince yourself of this product!
